Noah G.

Noah is a classical pianist, born and raised in San Diego, California. Noah began his formal musical training in 2005, and has continued to nurture his love for the piano in the academy and beyond. Currently, Noah is a student at Columbia University in the City of New York obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music, specializing in classical piano performance. At Columbia University, Noah participated in their selective Music Performance Program, studying under renowned flutist Susan Rotholz as part of a chamber ensemble. At Columbia University, Noah was trained in the Taubman approach, which is a set of movement principles designed to make piano playing musical and pain-free. Noah has taught primarily classical piano to students of a wide variety of ages and ability levels for the past four years, although he also works with beginner students of jazz, pop, and other contemporary styles. Noah does not rely solely on method books to teach and designs curriculums that are tailored to individual students, and that holistically address all the aspects of music-making, from theory, ear training, and composition.

Cheyenne P

Cheyenne is a classically trained pianist, violinist, and composer based in San Diego, California. She is passionate about igniting a love for music in others and creating a positive environment that fosters creativity and a deep appreciation for music. Having been trained in a variety of methods by various instructors, she favors a holistic philosophy in her approach to teaching, and is devoted to tailoring a plan to what best resonates with the individual student, allowing them to flourish and reach their goals. She began her formal training at the age of six for piano and nine for violin, and has been composing ever since she was a child. She has completed all ten levels of MTAC's Certificate of Merit with Branch Honors, and has been invited to perform at several MTAC conventions, held for the top 2% of the program's students. Specializing in both performance and music theory, she was accepted into San Diego State University's music performance program for piano in 2020. Outside of teaching, Cheyenne is passionate about music composition, and loves to explore and create music from the ground up.

My name is Ronica and I am a classically trained violinist based in San Diego, CA. I began studying violin at the age of four, and after 13 years of dedicated practice, music has become an integral part of my life. By my freshman year of high school, I had completed all 10 levels of MTAC’s Certificate of Merit, earning state recognition for my performances. My passion for performance has taken me to international stages, including the Burgos International Music Festival in Spain, where I spent two weeks in 2024 training with distinguished professors and performing solo, chamber, and orchestral works. Currently, I serve as concertmaster of the Del Norte High School Chamber Orchestra and am also the DNHS Orchestra President. Beyond performing, I am passionate about music education. I founded Jumpstart to Strings, a student-led initiative providing personalized string lessons to local elementary and middle school students. Alongside my personal teaching experience, this program has allowed me to develop four years of teaching experience, helping young musicians grow in skill and confidence.
